I is… （我是……）

In  English class the teacher  taught students how to use the words of the am, is, and are. Then the teacher let Mike use one of am, is, are to make a sentence. Mike said, “I is…”. Before he finished the teacher said, “It is not ‘I is’, it is ‘I am’.” Mike nodded and said, “I am the ninth letter of the twenty-six English letters”.
